We are pleased to present Yayasan Humanis dan Inovasi Sosial first Sustainability Report, showcasing our commitment to responsible Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) practices, and demonstrating our transparency and accountability in our operations, funding sources, and decision-making processes.

Yayasan Humanis dan Inovasi Sosial is committed to building sustainable societies in Southeast Asia where diverse peoples and communities prosper together, have equal access to resources, and are free from the threats of environmental degradation and climate change. In these societies, all citizens can exercise their rights and freedoms, collaborate with others to bring about positive change, influence decisions that affect them, and hold those in power accountable for achieving social and environmental justice.

For us, sustainability is an ongoing process, not an end in itself. We believe this process involves the interaction between various strategic, organizational, programmatic, social, environmental and financial elements as we work with our employees, partners and rightsholders to realize our mission over time. Sustainability is about building a sustainable way of working as an organization and ensuring our programs and operations responsibly impact our stakeholders and our planet.

ABOUT THE REPORT

This is the first Sustainability Report published by Yayasan Humanis dan Inovasi Sosial covering its operations in Indonesia, the Philippines and Timor-Leste. This annually published report is developed in accordance with the GRI Global Reporting Standards on Sustainability Reporting as a media to convey information to all stakeholders regarding the achievements, performance, commitment, initiatives and impact of the Foundation since its official start of operation in 1 April 2021 until 31 December 2022.
